FireWalk | How To Make AMAZING Chords & Chord Progressions WITHOUT Music Theory (FL Studio 20 Tutorial) @FireWalkMusic | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
In this FL Studio 20 chord tutorial, I will show you how how to make chords and chord progressions even if you don't know music theory. Learning to make chords and chord progressions are essential in order to create harmony in music. If you want to make an effective song then having great sounding chords is essential because chords and chord progressions are in many ways the very foundation of your song, so make sure that you spend some time getting your chord progressions right. There are different kinds of chords you can use to make your music have a particular feel. For example, some chords are happy sounding, while other chords are darker or even sad sounding. This tutorial will show you the basic chords, and how to use them effectively to make an effective chord progression. It will also show you how to chop up chords and make a melody from chords.
All though this tutorial is for FL Studio, the same techniques can be applied to any daw, such as Ableton, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper and so on. If you want to learn how to make a chord progression that work well, then make sure to watch this entire tutorial until the end.
Last but not least, I just want to point out that if you're new to chords, then it can be helpful to use midi files to help you get great sounding chords. This is a good way to learn how to make effective chord progressions.
A chord progression doesn't have to be too complicated. Keep it simple.
