This FL Studio tutorial will show you how to make simple but effective crash transitions in FL Studio 20. Transitions are important in music. It helps the track flow and adds both variation and excitement to your music. A reverse crash into crash transition is one of the most common transition effects used in music. It is very effective, and also very easy to make. In this video, I will show you how to make crash transitions in FL Studio 20.
This is how I make my crash transitions. There are many ways to make transition effects in FL Studio. I like to have a small gap to add some tension, but you can make the reverse crash flow directly into the main crash too if you want, for a different sounding effect. Experiment with reverb and delay, as well as other effects to make your crash transitions unique.
Transitions are very important when it comes to structuring a track. If you want to make a track from scratch then you need to know how to make some transitions. This simple but effective transition will work well alone or in combination with other transition effects.
This tutorial is for FL Studio, but this same technique can be applied to any daw, such as Ableton, Cubase, Studio One, Logic Pro etc.
