Paper miniatures are all the rage and it doesn't get better than an assortment of 3D paper houses. Corinne Bradd is here to show you how to make a customised paper house, so you can go on to build an entire town – pub and church included! It's easy, we promise.
You can make your buildings from plain card, patterned card, or a mixture of the two. You can also decorate with washi tape and die-cuts, layering the latter to make an assortment of windows and doors. The personalisation options are endless too – add door numbers, match the colours of your own house or a recipient's, keep it hollow so you can pop an LED tealight inside, and more.
They're a wonderful handmade decoration for Christmas, but our papercrafted homes work year-round too. Why not display a bunch together on a coffee table or mantelpiece?
