Need a new idea for all those disreputable jeans that you’ve not yet thrown out? Corinne Bradd has rummaged through the bottom of her wardrobe to bring you a new project.
Why not have a go at some easy machine embroidery worked in the round to create stylish denim mats and make a new set of place settings, some table protectors to pop under your house plants, some pretty coasters, or go large and sew up a neat cushion cover?
Layer together old denim, light weight cotton wadding, and a plain fabric backing before sketching out a series of concentric circles and running through your sewing machine using a bold cotton top stitch thread.
