This is a simple Woodturning Project I call a No Worry Stick :)
I got the idea from the popular Worry Stones as a way to manage anxiety and stress or just to take the mind away from worrying :) Similar to how a Comfort Blanket is used.
A No Worry Stick can be easily carried by a person and simply held or squeezed or rubbed to help create a relaxing or calming effect similar to Stress Balls.
I few drops of Essential Oil can be apply to it to act as an Aromatherapy tool.
I hope the idea inspires someone to make them regularly and distribute or gift them to those that may need them. Especially local Hospitals and Hospice :)
I received a great suggestion that would apply very well to these and that is to place them in a small bag with a note and leave them in public places for people to find :) Thank you Shannon :)
