Crafts With Ellen | How to make a cover for a hot water bottle | Sewing tutorial @CraftsWithEllen | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
I love snuggling up with a hot water bottle, it's just so comfortable and relaxing. My husband knows this, so for Christmas he got me this great heart shaped hot water bottle. To make it even more huggable, I decided to make a nice cover for it, with elastic around the neck.
This video shows you the steps you need to take to make a cover for your own hot water bottle, whether it's heart shaped or not.
What you'll need:
- a hot water bottle in need of a cover
- stretchy fabric
- matching thread
- 20 cm of thin elastic
- tailor's chalk or other marking tool
- scissors
- pins
If you make one of your own, I'd love to see it! Send me a picture on Instagram @craftswithellen.
