Hi everyone! I'm bring you today a project I've made as a gift for a 15 yo cousin. I chose ash, as it's known applications for baseball bat making. I decide to add a burn effect as imitation of those heat treated wood baseball bats. For the finish I applied 3 coats of Tung oil and then a clear wood wax. As weak point of this project, I was limited by 17" long by the lathe dimensions. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this project and the video itself.
