Daily inspections are a must to keep your Cat FirstCut system ready for the next job. If it’s time for new FirstCut edges, here’s how to handle installation:

1. Move your machine to a dry, level spot.
2. Clean off any rust or nicks from the mounting surface area.
3. Always use new bolts and nuts for installation.
4. Tighten the nuts, then strike the plow belt with a hammer.
5. Torque the nuts to the values in the instructions.

Remember: Check your OMM for safety procedures, and don’t forget your PPE!
