How to Lay Bathroom Floor Tiles. Laying the Floor Tiles. G'day Knuckleheads, Uncle Knackers here. In this Ep. we start laying the floor tiles in all the wet areas. The floor tile l've gone with is a ceramic tile as opposed to a porcelain tile which a lot of people tend to go with for some reason. Ceramic tiles have come a long way in recent times and can look very similar, if not identical to a porcelain tile. I like the ceramic tile for its ease in laying and also for drilling into when installing vanities, towel rails, toilet roll holders etc.
