diyforknuckleheads.com Sanding the Floorboards and Wall Tiling the Kitchen Splashback. G'day Knuckleheads and welcome to Episode 47 in my Diy For Knuckleheads Owner Builder Series. In this Episode we are at that point in the renovation where l'm sanding the floorboards and tiling the kitchen splash back.
Sanding the floor made a massive difference to the house as did the splash back. The older floor took a lot of work to get it up to scratch but the end result was well worth the effort. I decided to use professional floor sanders for this job as l wanted a really nice finish. It proved to be a good decision. I also went for a Satin finish which was appropriate for the older boards. It really made the character in the floorboards POP!.
The kitchen splash back was the same. I can't wait for you to see it in the Big Reveal Video Coming Soon!
