Keeping the kitchen counters clean is crucial for me as someone who enjoys cooking, and even more crucial in a large family!
My biggest piece of advice is to have spots for items that aren’t the kitchen counters. Keep stuff out that you use often and helps your kitchen flow, but other stuff needs a home. This seems obvious, but it definitely requires some effort and time.
I don’t hang on to any paper clutter- I’m really quick to just throw stuff away and remove it. It’s actually a lot simpler than you might think to replace documents if you accidentally toss something you shouldn’t have.
