We are experiencing more frequent hot summers and it is not easy to keep a house cool without spending a lot of money on air conditioning, shutters and awnings. I have a large window that faces south and needed to find an inexpensive way of keeping it cooler on sunny days. My solution is simple and not expensive at all. I did a search for silver sided tarpaulins and found a company her in the UK that offer exceptional value for money. They are Tarpaflex and here is a link to their web site:
