The GTA 26 would make an ideal present for a keen gardener and I wish that I had one of these when we had our wood burner in our old house. Cutting branches up to 4" thick is a piece of cake. Battery life reduces as the number of thicker cuts increases. My only criticism is the very odd case supplied with the kit version.

I am grateful to Stihl for lending this demonstration tool to me.
