Episode#14 Custom Virtual Pinball Cabinet Build
In this video I will be teaching you how to install the hinges, wing bolts, and the safety latch so your back box can swing down for easier transport. This seems like an easy task but it can be tricky so this video will make it a lot easier for your build. All great stuff for anyone looking to make their very own custom virtual pinball cabinet from scratch!
I have also created timestamps so you can jump to the part/info you need.
00:23 The failed marriage of the back box and the main cabinet
02:17 Aligning the back box to the center of the cabinet
03:06 Installing the hinge to layout the hole locations for the bolts
05:02 Remove the back box and layout/drill the holes
06:20 Making the hinge backing plates for the bolts
08:39 Installing the hinges
10:22 Laying out/drilling/installing of the t nuts/wing bolts
14:12 Installing the safety latch on the back of the cabinet
No rabbits/rabbets were harmed in the production of this video.
