This episode is everything you wanted to know about relays but were afraid to ask! You will also be learning all about Faraday's Law of Induction and see why it is soooo important to a ton of different car parts in your vehicle. You learn this stuff and you are well on your way to become a gearhead.
Here is another episode of a brand new series on how to become a GEARHEAD! If you have ever wondered how people know so much about cars and are absolutely crazy about anything with a motor, then this is a great series for you. This is geared towards people that have no knowledge of cars but want to learn; however, the content in my videos does try to make solid connections between theory and practical applications so even seasoned gearheads will find the info useful.
30 - what does a relay look like?
21 - where can I find a relay?
45 - What does a relay do?
42 - What is Faraday's Law of Induction?
52 - Faraday's Law shown through electromagnet
36 - How Faraday's Law works inside a relay
21 - The reverse of Faraday's Law shown with magnets.
34 - all of the car parts that work off of this principle
52 - the inside of a relay shown working
23 - how to test a relay with power supply and a 9V battery
08 - a working circuit with a relay shown
17 - helpful tricks to test and fix circuits with a possible bad relay
This video is filmed and edited with all new gear and it looks loads better than previous videos (let me know what you think!). I also tried a bunch of new filming angles and techniques to make a more entertaining video for you. I hope you find it interesting and feel inspired to start working on your own vehicle.
