How To Install Packages on Proxmox VM with Terraform
In Terraform, a provisioner is a component responsible for executing scripts on a local or remote machine as part of the resource creation or destruction process. Provisioners are used to configure and set up the resources after they are created or before they are destroyed.
There are several types of provisioners in Terraform:
Local-exec Provisioner:
Purpose: Executes commands on the machine running Terraform (the local machine).
Use Cases: Running local scripts or commands for configuration.
Remote-exec Provisioner:
Purpose: Executes commands on a remote machine over SSH.
Use Cases: Running configuration scripts on a newly created instance.
File Provisioner:
