How To Secure OPNsense Firewall With 2FA (Two Factor Authentication)
Enabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on OPNsense provides a significant security upgrade for accessing the firewall’s web interface (and optionally VPN, SSH, etc.). Here are the main benefits:
🔒 1. Stronger Security for Admin Access
- Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
- Requires something you know (password) and something you have (like a TOTP app).
