Hello and Welcome to Korky Toilet repair.
Today we are going to show you how to correctly connect your water supply line to your new Korky fill valve.
First determine what kind of water supply line you have.
If you have a vinyl or stainless steel braided line, no extra pieces are needed.
If you have a flanged metal line, no extra pieces are needed but make sure there is an existing washer between the supply line and valve.
If you have a flexible copper line, discard your old mounting hardware and use the new included rubber cone washer and coupling nut.
Slide the cone washer down one quarter inch of your supply line.
If you have a PEX, metal spiral, or other line with an attached ferrule, use the included coupling nut.
You may have pieces left over.
Do not use any sealant or tape on the threads.
For all lines, tighten the coupling nut until hand tight.
Congratulations you have successfully connected your water supply line to your new valve.
