This video will show you How to Install a Basement Exterior Door in a concrete cinder block foundation. By watching this video, you will learn:
1. How to remove an existing exterior basement door and frame.
2. How to attach a new, pressure treated door frame to a concrete cinder block foundation using Tapcon masonry screws.
3. How to waterproof a basement exterior door using caulk and flashing.
4. How to seal the bottom of an exterior door sill and attach it to the basement floor slab.
5. How to level a basement exterior door to ensure a plumb installation.
6. How to shim a door and jamb for a uniform reveal.
7. How to apply expandable spray foam between the door frame and jamb.
8. How to caulk a basement exterior door between the brickmold and the house exterior.
