Learn how to plant grass seed and automate the watering process with RainPoint's Smart Watering System.

To plant grass, start by tilling and aerating the soil. Next, plant grass seed and apply a bit of topsoil or peat moss to allow for good seed-soil contact. Finally, you will need to water the newly planted seed 2X per day. For this project, I automated the process with Rainpoint's 2-zone sprinkler timer which made the watering process a breeze.
