Inserting a SIM card into your Samsung Galaxy S26 is straightforward when you follow the correct steps and direction.

Step 1: Power Off Your Device
Before inserting the SIM card, turn off your Samsung Galaxy S26. This helps prevent potential damage to the card or device during insertion

Step 2: Locate the SIM Card Tray
For the Galaxy S26 and S26+, the SIM card tray is on the bottom left side of the phone.

For the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the tray is on the bottom right side

Step 3: Remove the SIM Tray
Use the SIM eject tool that comes with your phone, or a small paperclip, and gently press it into the small hole next to the SIM tray. The tray will pop out slightly; carefully pull it out fully

Step 4: Place the SIM Card
Insert your nano-SIM card into the tray with the metal contacts facing upward. Ensure the card fits snugly in the tray without forcing it

Step 5: Reinsert the Tray
Carefully slide the SIM tray back into the slot until it clicks securely
