An easy way to create a concrete look with Golden Paintworks® Sandstone. This video will show how to blend two colors together for a convincing look of vertical troweled concrete using a thin synthetic texture.

Golden Paintworks® Sandstone is an acrylic texture that uses a fine sand aggregate as a filler that enables it to be applied both smooth and rough without cracking. It dries to the color of the aggregate, that is, a light gray but has no titanium white in it or cheap fillers so it can be made to deep colors like black. Because it is acrylic, it takes a long time to set up which makes it ideal for blending colors for a variety of looks.

Materials:
GPW Sandstone colored to Benjamin Moore HC-179 Platinum Gray
GPW untinted Sandstone.

Tools:
Medium stainless steel trowel (240 x 100mm)
3" spackle knife
water spray bottle
