The bracket for this ladder wasn't set up to screw into a stud, so another solution was needed. A simple trick, using some scrap wood / board solved the problem. The Amazon links go to brackets that will avoid this problem to begin with.

This repair is NOT for pressurized pipes - rubber flexx will flex until it pops. This is a great repair for a no pressure pipe, like a sewer, storm drain, rain gutter, or similar.
