A year ago, my dryer stopped working and gives the F01 error code and I was able to fix mine without too much trouble - basic tools and a soldering iron.

It worked for several months, but, the same F01 error came back a couple times before I finally to a more drastic step of shipping the board away for repair.

Get the dryer board here: ebay.us/Zv6q9P

Watch this video repair update on how I fixed it.

This error has been found on Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag dryers. Leave a comment if you have it on other brands like LG, Bosche, Samsung, GE, Fridgidaire, Amana, or others

Disclaimer - I am not an appliance technician and do not know the cause of this circuit board failure. There's likely a bigger problem on the circuit board that caused those points to burn out. Hopefully, this repair does not cause me more problems in the future. The safest and longest-lasting repair is likely to replace the entire circuit board. For me, this repair kept the dryer running.
