Well Plant Lovers! There's always hoo hah about 'blue' orchids...and they never are! Case in point Dendrobium victoriae-reginae; oft touted as blue where as in fact every example I've ever seen, including my own, is violet...which is NOT blue! So let me introduce you to Cleisocentron gokusingii, a cool grower from Sabah in Borneo, which is most definitely blue! Albeit very pale! It seems incredibly happy in my climate, growing outside all year undercover, and blooming this mid summer!

And where ever you are, try finding a local orchid group as it will a) unlock a world of knowledge applicable to your environment and b) give you access to plant sales, swaps, auctions etc! Just google 'orchid society near me' and see what pops up!
