This week Plant Lovers, a surprise first time blooming! I noticed my Dracula bella had a fabulous flower while I was finishing my orchid inventory! I could EASILY have missed it as the plant was hanging quiet low! Moral of THAT story? Hang it higher!! So in this video we'll look at the care I've given this plant; water, light, potting, medium and temperatures, and we'll at look at the change in conditions that may have triggered it to bloom. We'll also look at a few references to this orchid which are quite stern AND frightening in their insistence on a narrow bandwidth of conditions to enable the orchid to thrive!
