In Earthbound there are several rare items dropped by certain enemies. These are known as the 1/128 items. Among these are some of the best weapons and armor in the game.
Mother 2 Deluxe Version 3.0 makes these far easier to obtain by quadrupling the drop rates from 1/128 (0.7%) to 1/32 (3.1%).
