Guide on how to get the Midas and Revenant Hunter Masks and an Ivory Key in The Division 2! There is no commentary in this video but a full guide is available in the description below!
1) Head to the pool behind the hotel in the Southwest corner of the West End zone (0:00).
2) Go into the middle of the pool and perform the jumping jack emote (hold H to access the emote menu) (0:05) - *BEWARE* this will spawn BOTH the Midas and Revenant Hunters above on the Northeastern landing! (0:10).
3) Kill the Midas and Revenant Hunters and loot their masks! (0:11 to 2:50 and 4:57).
A few things to be aware of in this fight are:
- The best strategy was to push up towards the Hunters as soon as they spawn and force them to the lower area with the pool to gain the height advantage (0:21). Every attempt to kill the hunters while staying at the bottom resulted in our deaths!
- Each Hunter has two skills that they use:
Midas: Blinder Firefly (1:33) and Mender Seeker Mines (3:40)
Revenant: Stinger Hive (1:53) and Incinerator Turret (0:58)
- This encounter will drop a single Ivory Key
- Uses an EMP on a regular basis that will effect some equipment and skills.
- The Hunters heal themselves when they get low on health and are behind cover.
- If this Hunter is anything like the others, friendly technology can be hacked to benefit the Hunter (Turrets, Hive, etc.)!
Note:
- You MUST complete the Side Mission: Agent Edwards Support (located in Downtown East) to be introduced to the Hunters before you can try and spawn the Hunters on your own.
- It MUST be night time to spawn ANY of the Hunters. The in-game time can be viewed in Photo Mode (press Escape and then Hold F to access once you're on the menu).
