Guide on how to get the Ghoul Hunter Mask and an Ivory Key in The Division 2! There is no commentary in this video but a full guide is available in the description below!
1) Head to the Western side of West Potomac Park just North of the Lincoln Memorial Main Mission where three underground entrances form a triangle intersected by Henry Bacon Drive NW (0:00).
2) Go underground through the Southern most tunnel entrance (0:05) and head North towards the echo, up a flight of stairs, and into a room with discarded equipment (0:18).
3) Interact with the laptop located on the Southern side of the room (0:22). A light will turn on illuminating the map on the wall showing an X where the Hunter will spawn (0:29). This location matches up with the water resource near the Southwestern corner of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool (0:37).
4) The Ghoul Hunter is spawned by shooting the flickering light on top of the container with the tarp roof (0:46). The light can be shot while either standing on the container or the ground below - if you choose to shoot the light while standing on the container *BEWARE* that he will spawn almost directly on top of you (0:54)!
5) Kill the Ghoul Hunter and loot his mask (0:54 to 4:02)!
A few things to be aware of in this fight are:
- The area can be populated by roaming enemies that are unrelated to the fight but will not hesitate to join in! I would suggest clearing the area before you spawn the Hunter.
- The Ghoul Hunter has two special abilities: Either a Defender or Fixer Drone (I couldn't tell which one)(1:26, 1:48, etc.) and an Oxidizer Chem Gun (corrosive damage)(2:39).
- The Hunter heals himself whenever he gets low on health and is behind cover.
- I ended up wearing him down to the point where I believe he ran out of replacement armour. There doesn't seem to be any time limit or need to kill him quickly ... stay defensive and wear him down!
Note:
- You MUST complete the Side Mission: Agent Edwards Support (located in Downtown East) to be introduced to the Hunters before you can try and spawn the Hunters on your own.
- It MUST be night time to spawn ANY of the Hunters. The in-game time can be viewed in Photo Mode (press Escape and then Hold F to access once you're on the menu).
