A visual guide on how to get the Divide Hunter Mask and an Off-white Key in The Division 2! There is no commentary in this video but a full text guide is available in the description below!
BEFORE YOU BEGIN - I highly recommend clearing the control points in the Financial District as well as scouting the flag locations ahead of time during the day (the flags are still visible on the ground) so that you can spawn the hunter as smoothly as possible and have as much time to fight him as you'll need.
1) Start at the Memorial Plaza located north-northeast of the Waterfront Control Point in the Financial District (0:00).
2) Interact with the generator on the western edge of the ring of flags (0:08). This will cause the lights in the centre to turn on.
3) Fast travel to the Celebration Hotel Control Point (0:15). Exit the main door. Turn south-southwest towards the multi-story brick building. If you haven't already collected the Shade Cache from the roof you will need to shoot the yellow lock on the door (0:28). Proceed to the southern corner of the building and move to the roof (0:35). Collect the first flag on the corner of the balcony (0:45).
4) Fast travel to The Food Bank Safe House (0:50) and exit the building. Move south-southeast to the flooded construction yard. Engage the generator (1:05) to drain the water. Collect the second flag in the flooded area (1:13).
5) Run to the docks (1:18). Collect the third flag on the dock (1:26).
6) Fast travel to the Waterfront Control Point (1:33). Turn south and run out the back door. Collect the fourth flag on the beach (1:44).
7) Run back to where we started at the Memorial Plaza north-northeast of the Waterfront Control Point (1:50).
8) Raise the flags that were collected on the flag poles without flags (1:55 to 2:21). Engage the generator for a second time (2:29) - *BEWARE THIS WILL SPAWN THE HUNTER!*
9)Kill the Divide Hunter and loot his mask and an Off-white Key (2:37 to 6:05)!
A few things to be aware of in this fight are:
- The Divide Hunter has two special abilities:
- Shock Traps (2:40)
- Artillery Drone (4:03). DO NOT GET CLOSE! If you are far enough away the rounds are relatively
easy to dodge - if you get too close they do not have any travel time and easily kill you (I made
this mistake as you'll see in the video, lol!)
- Uses an EMP on a regular basis that will effect some equipment and skills.
- The Hunter heals himself when he gets low on health and is behind cover.
- If this Hunter is anything like the others, friendly technology can be hacked to benefit the Hunter.
Note:
- You MUST complete the Side Mission: Agent Edwards Support (located in Downtown East) to be introduced to the Hunters before you can try and spawn the Hunters on your own (this was true before the expansion - I do not know if it is still needed).
- It MUST be night time to spawn ANY of the Hunters. The in-game time can be viewed in Photo Mode (press Escape and then Hold F to access once you're on the menu).
- You MUST own Warlords of New York Expansion to have access to this hunter.
