Sometimes it feels a little scary or overwhelming to take our kids outside, especially somewhere other than a park or the backyard. Other obstacles to getting our kids outside more could be 1. they just don't want to go outside or 2. they say they are bored. The truth is it helps so much if you go with them and it can take time for them to figure out how they want to play outside. In this video I am talking about the WHY it is valuable for our kid's development and even education, the HOW of getting lots of hours outside, and extra TIPS for taking your kids outside more.
