About this video: Minecraft mods for 26.1.2 are one of the best ways to customize Minecraft and make it your own. Your options are nearly limitless with what you can do with Minecraft mods. From new biomes and mobs to quality of life features like managing your inventory easily, mods can truly revolutionize how you play Minecraft 26.1.2.
This is our complete guide on how to get mods in Minecraft 26.1.2. We use the CurseForge Launcher to do this, and it works for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge mods. No matter which mod loader you need, CurseForge makes the whole process simple, so let's get into it.
First things first, we will need to download and install CurseForge. CurseForge is a launcher that lets you easily download, manage, and play Minecraft with mods. You can find a link to CurseForge in the description above. That will take you to our complete guide on getting CurseForge set up. Once you are there, click the download button for CurseForge and run the installer. Click through the installer until you reach the Install button and click that as well.
With CurseForge installed, open it up and click on Minecraft. From here, you will see a "Create Custom Profile" button. Click on that. This is where you will set up the mod loader and Minecraft version you want to use. Give your profile a name, set the Minecraft version to 26.1.2, and then choose your mod loader. For this video, we are showing Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, and the process is the same for all three. Select whichever mod loader the mods you want to use support, and click Create.
Once your profile is created, you will be taken to the profile page. From here, click the "Add More Content" button. This will open up the CurseForge mod browser. You can search for any mod you want to add to Minecraft 26.1.2 right here. When you find a mod you want, click the "Install" button next to it. CurseForge will handle downloading and installing it for you automatically.
From there, you can add as many mods as you like this way. Just keep in mind that the mods you download need to be for the 26.1.2 version of Minecraft and the mod loader you selected. If they are not, they will not work.
Once you have all of your mods added, go back to your profile in CurseForge and click the "Play" button. This will open the Minecraft Launcher. You will need to log in to the Minecraft Launcher, but this is completely safe as it is the normal Minecraft Launcher just being opened through CurseForge. After logging in, Minecraft 26.1.2 will launch with all of your mods active and ready to go.
With that, you now know how to get mods in Minecraft 26.1.2 using the CurseForge Launcher. If you have any questions about how to download or install mods for 26.1.2, let us know in the comments. We will try our best to help you out.
Otherwise, if we did help you out, please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. It really helps us out, and it means a ton to me. Thank you very, very much in advance!
