Did you know deleted files from different Samsung apps can remain in their Trash and continue taking up storage?
On the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Device Care → Storage → Trash lets you check deleted items from supported apps in one place.

On my phone, the list includes:
* My Files
* Gallery
* Messages
* Contacts
* Samsung Notes

You can delete individual items or empty an app's entire trash.

Steps
- Open Settings.
- Tap Device care.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap Trash.
- Select an app.
- Tap Select to choose specific deleted items.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete again to confirm.
- To empty all items from an app
- Open the app's Trash.
- Tap the More icon.
- Tap Empty.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
