You can format a USB drive to exFAT on a Windows PC using either File Explorer or Disk Management to ensure it works with Android phones and tablets.

Using File Explorer
Insert the USB drive into your Windows PC.
Open File Explorer and locate the drive under "This PC" or "My Computer".

Right-click the USB drive and select Format.
In the format window:

File system: Choose exFAT.
Allocation unit size: Select Default (suitable for most use cases).
Volume label: Optionally enter a name for your drive.

Ensure that Quick Format is checked for faster formatting.
Click Start and confirm any warnings about data loss. The drive will be formatted to exFAT, allowing larger file transfers with Android devices.
