The following video includes a whole bunch of tips on how to fix issues with Lian Li's LCD fans. This includes the TL LCD and SL LCD fans and is aimed mostly at the wireless models of the fans, but some of the fixes will also work for the older TL LCD wired model.
Here I'm showing you how to get the fans working properly so that they display in L Connect, are controllable and run at the right speed. Also obviously making sure that the LCD fans allow you to customise the screen.
This is a long video, but I'll leave timestamps down below.
The advice includes the following:
- Manually updating and installing L Connect (because the auto update isn't great)
- Applying firmware updates via L Connect
- Manually installing firmware updates instead
- Making sure fans are connected properly
- Not using USB splitters
- USB hub alternatives
- Updating your chipset drivers
- Updating your BIOS
- Updating Windows
- Changing the USB dongle's port and MORE!
