Now that you've finished the first 8 boxes of the outer perimeter, let's finish it up.
💚 Once you complete your 8 boxes down the first side, you'll find yourself stuck in the bottom, left corner. Take a moment to locate where you want to start working your next stitch.
💚 Flip to the back, run your needle underneath the stitches in the direction of where you want to start working your next stitch and pull through. Now you're ready to restart your boxes, continuing to alternate the direction.
💚 When you are close to running out of yarn, you can weave your tail end back in the same direction you came from, or even easier, lay the tail end where you can stitch over it to anchor in place, same as you did to start.
✨️ I recommend your anchor stitch and final end of each strand be about 1 1/2" to2″ long, or about 2 boxes long, as the longer stitches are a little looser and we don’t want our tail end to slip out, but if it does, the 2″ length will be easier to grab and weave back in under the stitches.
💚 To restart, from the back, run your needle underneath two boxes above where you want to start, pulling in the same direction as you finished so the consistency from the front is the same as if continuing with the same strand.
