How to export images from InDesign documents is demonstrated in this video. Markzware shows how you can extract or export images from InDesign documents used in DTP page layouts. We show you the “standard” Adobe way, then, we demo an even easier way to export all used images, embedded, pasted graphic, or otherwise linked image, with the NEW OmniMarkz from Markzware!
With Adobe InDesign, there is a way to export the embedded or Linked images in an .indd InDesign layout.
Step 1. Choose File-Export or COMMAND-E on a Mac
Step 2. Choose JPEG. (It only works with JPEG images)
Step 3. The Export window comes up - CHOOSE “Selection”
Step 4. Save it out
It's a bit confusing and, if you’re not paying attention, you save out the entire document as an image!
