Google My Maps — google.com/mymaps
Framer is awesome — but its built-in map widget is pretty limited:
- You can only add one marker.
- You can’t style it.
- There are no modal pop-ups.
- And you can’t properly control map clutter or points of interest.
So let’s fix that.
In this video, I’ll show you how to embed fully interactive maps on a Framer website — including:
• Unlimited markers
• Custom marker styles
• Modal pop-ups with photos, titles and notes
• Search (so visitors can find the closest location)
• Filterable tags
• Custom map styles
• Delivery radius circles, lines and polygons
• And much more
We’ll look at two tools:

2️⃣ Atlist (Paid)
You’ll see exactly how to:
• Create a map
• Import markers from a spreadsheet
• Customize map styles

Google My Maps is free — but has limited customization and branding control.
Atlist gives you full design control, modals, overlays, search, collaboration, password protection, boundary restrictions, and more — but requires a paid plan to embed maps.
I also explain why embedded Google Maps aren’t actually “free” (Google Cloud API charges per view) and why that matters for tools like Atlist.
