Hostinger is great — but its built-in map element is limited.

You can only add one marker, you can’t style it, you can’t remove points of interest, and clicking a marker doesn’t even open a proper modal popup.

So in this video, I’ll show you how to embed fully interactive maps on a Hostinger website instead.

We’ll cover two map-making tools:

• Google My Maps (free)
• Atlist (paid)

First, we’ll walk through Google My Maps:
– Add markers by searching, clicking, or importing a spreadsheet
– Choose from preset marker colors
– Draw polygons and routes
– Embed the map into a Hostinger site

And then we’ll look at the limitations:
– You can’t hide the black header or profile photo
– You can’t remove points of interest
– Marker clicks open a fixed sidebar you can’t customize

Next, we’ll build the same map using Atlist:
– Import markers from a spreadsheet or Google Sheet
– Fully style markers (globally or individually)
– Use customizable modal pop-ups with photos, titles, and notes
– Draw circles, lines, and polygons
– Add overlays like Search, Tags, and Lists
– Choose custom map styles
– Embed the map directly into Hostinger
