All this just for some Grass Geckos (they are a 1% chance to spawn by the way).
* It's actually 6 geckos within a 5 turf tile distance (not 4 turf tiles) that will prevent more Geckos from spawning (Cosson and I tested this after this video was uploaded). If it was say 5 geckos within a 5 turf tile distance, only 1 would spawn and the others would fail, which would also cause the morph timer to reset. If there are 6 geckos within the turf tile radius, trying to spawn geckos will fail and reset the morph timer. So make sure to build your gecko pen more than 5 tiles away from your grass, not 4 tiles (cause I did bad maths).
** I say 4 pitchfork tiles is the limit, but I don't actually know the number. I tested a 4 pitchfork tile distance and don't really feel like testing anything any closer cause of that 1% chance to spawn geckos. Not a major loss if it's that far from each other anyways.
Much thanks to Clwnbaby's stream from a long time ago, where I remembered learning that digging Grass Tufts with a shovel can give Grass Geckos (and the fact that he was mad when it happened lol). Much thanks to CossonWool for providing some debugging code that helped verify the Morph Timer on the Grass Tufts as well as helping me test some of the Gecko spawning mechanics.
