In this video I replace the transfer case fluid in a 2000 Ford F150. This 30K mile service is past due. Mercon is called for in the owner’s manual, but is NLA. At first the dealer parts department sold me Mercon 5. I read the label on the way out and in fine print it said “don’t use in transfer case.” About face and they then sold me two quarts of Mercon LV. Such an adventure to fill a transfer case!
