After some preliminary tests and inspections showcased in Parts 1 and 2 of this Junkyard Revival series, it’s time for a complete teardown of our 305 Chevy V8 engine. That’ll give us a closer look at the condition of the engine internals and rotating assembly, where we’ll pay special attention to any odd or unusual wear on the lifters, camshaft lobes, and main bearings.
