Say Goodbye to Auto Windows Update with the steps shown in this video. If you want to update your Windows, you can do it manually. To do this, search for Windows Update using Start.
To disable automatic Windows updates in Windows 10 Pro and above, you can use the Group Policy Editor. Unlike the steps shown in this video, there is little change where you stay free the notification about windows update.
Step 1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Step 2. Type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter. This will open the Local Group Policy Editor.
Step 3. In the left-hand pane, navigate to "Computer Configuration" - "Administrative Templates" - "Windows Components" -"Windows Update".
Note: If you're using Windows 10 Home edition, the Group Policy Editor is not available. You can disable from the services instead.
Step 4. In the right-hand pane, locate and double-click on the "Configure Automatic Updates" policy.
Step 5. Select the "Disabled" option and then lick Apply and OK to save the changes.
