Samsung Gallery keeps backup versions of edited photos and videos so you can revert them back to their original versions.
If you no longer need these backup versions, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may show a suggestion in Device care → Storage that lets you delete them.

How to delete old editing backups
- Open Settings.
- Tap Device care.
- Tap Storage.
- Under Suggestions, look for the option to delete backup versions of pictures.
- If you don't see it, tap View more.
- Tap Select files.
- Select the pictures and/or videos you want to remove.
- Or tap the radio button at the top to select all.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete again to confirm.

⚠️ Important: These backup versions allow you to revert edited photos and videos to their original versions. Once you delete them, the selected photos and videos can no longer be reverted to their original versions.
