Have you ever had duplicate files in your project that you want do delete? You can of course delete them manually, but the problem here is that if the clip is used in your project, it will disappear from the timeline when deleting it in the project window, but there is a way to avoid this.
As you can see in this example, I have imported the trailer to my eurotrip from 2018, but four times. These clips are used one time each in the timeline and I want to delete three of them, so that I instead use only one clip four times.
I do this by simply going up to the menu and under Edit, I click “Consolidate Duplicates” and if you like short time-saving tutorials like this, please subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell so that you can get notified whenever I publish a new short tutorial, just like this one.
