How to Defeat the Venom Daoist and Unlock the Secret Area (Purple Cloud Mountain) Black Myth: Wukong
In Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong, the Venom Daoist is a two-part optional boss you’ll need to defeat to unlock a secret area. The first encounter is in the Webbed Hollow, where you’ll find a large cocoon near the Pool of Shattered Jade. Attack the cocoon to start the fight. The Venom Daoist, armed with dual swords and several extra limbs, will emerge. Dodge his slashes and leaping attacks, then counter by targeting his limbs for massive damage. Once weakened, he’ll retreat.
The rematch takes place at the Temple of Yellow Flowers. This time, the Daoist is faster and more aggressive, but with fewer arms. Watch out for his rapid dashes and airborne sword throws. Deflect and dodge to create openings, and once again, focus on destroying his limbs to cripple his attacks. After you defeat him, he’ll unlock the secret Purple Cloud Mountain area, which holds valuable rewards for the final boss fight.

Defeat Centipede Guai Fast in Black Myth: Wukong [1-Min Guide]
Facing the Centipede Guai in Black Myth: Wukong? Heres how to defeat it!
The Centipede Guai attacks with heavy slams, frontal claw swipes, and even rolls into a ball to charge at you. Dodge its first two head slams and immediately counter when it falls on its back. Use Rock Solid to deflect its rolling attack and knock it down for big damage.
When it stands on two legs and spews poison, back off and use Pillar Stance to avoid the damage. At half health, it will summon exploding centipedes. Sprint away, then swerve to avoid them as they collide with each other.
Stay on guard for backward slams and finish the fight by saving your Immobilize spell to exploit its weak points after its charges. With good timing, you’ll have no problem taking it down!
