Abbreviation: k2tog
Knitting two stitches together is one way to decrease the row by one stitch. In this video we will show you how to decrease a stitch using the knit 2 together method. This technique is used in the Lola Pom Slippers Knitting Kit and the Eska Diamond Beanie Knitting Kit.
STEP-BY-STEP
Also referred to as knit 2 together.
1) Insert the right needle into two stitches.
2) With the yarn behind the needles, wrap it around the tip of the right needle anti-clockwise and draw the yarn through to create a knit stitch as normal.
3) You have now decreased the stitch.
And that’s how you decrease a stitch by knitting two stitches together at the same time!
