Recently, I had a personal experience where I became aware that some people were judging and criticizing my work. They questioned my intentions and made assumptions about my motives.

Instead of reacting or defending myself, I took time to reflect on the experience. It became a valuable opportunity to practice what we often talk about — mindfulness, equanimity, and inner stability.

In this video, I share 5 practical perspectives that can help anyone navigate criticism, judgment, and gossip with more clarity and peace. These are reflections that come from personal experience, monastic training, and learning how to work with the mind when it feels uncomfortable or challenged.

Criticism is something we will all face at some point in life. The question is not how to avoid it, but how to relate to it wisely — without letting it disturb our peace or pull us off our path.

I hope this video offers you reassurance, grounding, and helpful tools if you’ve ever felt hurt, misunderstood, or shaken by the opinions of others.

🧘‍♂️ How do you usually respond to criticism? Feel free to reflect or share in the comments. #monks #buddhism #mentalhealth
