This crochet baby blanket pattern is simple and great for beginners. The fan stitch is used in this free tutorial. The blanket is beautiful, soft, and fluffy!

YARN: I used Hometown USA yarn. I used 4 skeins/balls of Charlotte blue and 5 skeins of New York White. This yarn is super bulky and really soft. It makes the blanket really warm and thick.

HOOK: I used a Susan Bates Bamboo Handel Crochet Hook size M 13 or 9 MM. This is a great hook for widening your grip and preventing sore hands while crocheting.

FINISHED SIZE: 37" X 37"
