You can easily create a group text on an Android phone by using your default Messages app or a third-party messaging service to select multiple recipients and send a message simultaneously.
Using the Default Android Messages App
Open the Messages App: Tap the app icon labeled “Messages” or “Messages by Google.”
Start a New Message: Tap the + or Start chat button.
Add Recipients: In the “To” field, type the phone numbers or names of the contacts you want to include in the group text. You can select multiple contacts one by one.
Compose Your Message: Type your message in the text field as you would with a normal SMS.
Check Messaging Settings (Optional): Tap the three-dot menu Settings Advanced (or similar) and make sure MMS group messaging is turned on so that replies from all recipients are visible to everyone in the group.
Send the Message: Tap the Send button. Your message will be sent to all selected contacts, and replies can either come back individually or to the group depending on your MMS settings.
